9:00 Bus excursion to Karlstejn and Konopiste Castles (7,5 h)

Karlstejn gothic Castle - (1348 and 1355) - originally served to safeguard the imperial and royal treasure and the Crown jewels and as an archive of state documents. Excursion to the mansions of imperial family, to church of St. Mary, the chapel of Holy Cross (1357).
Departure to Konopiste castle after lunch - a modern view acquired after reconstruction in Romantic style in the end of 19th century. Walk through the rose gardens, English park. See representational halls, historical collections - weapons, library, chapel. Visit the gallery, museum of St. George, a shooting gallery.
